Transport services
Our clients can collect their equipment in different ways from our depots. Customers can choose to pick up their containers by truck. As we have our own water connection on our depots, it is also possible to pick up equipment via barge. Reefer Sales Europe can also arrange your transport by truck, ship or train. Due to a long term relationship with suppliers, we are able to offer great service and most important a competitive price.
FAQs
How are the shipping containers delivered?
Alpha Group Container outsources its delivery service to third-party trucking companies. Containers can be delivered by either flatbed, tilt-bed, low-boy (low-bed) trailer, or chassis. Please note container delivery by flatbed, low-boy (low-bed) trailer, or chassis requires a forklift or crane at the delivery site. Alternatively, you can arrange for pick-up at Alpha Group Container using a trucking company of your choice.
How should I prepare the ground for delivery?
Your shipping container should be placed on firm, dry, level ground, i.e. pavement, gravel, or hard dirt. If your container is being delivered by flatbed trailer, you’ll need a crane or forklift onsite at the time of delivery so you can lift the container off the truck.
